They are super fun to share with your kids and make a great after school snack option. You can pre-prep all of the ingredients in advance for easy assembly and have your meal ready in minutes.
Ingredients:
- 6 Hardboiled eggs
- 4 strips of bacon
- 1 beefsteak tomato
- 1-2 tbsp mayo
- Lettuce
- Salt & pepper
- Everything bagel seasoning
Tips & Tricks:
- Hardboiled Eggs: Hard boil your eggs to your desired yolk consistency. Want it a little bit jammy go for a 6 minute egg. Just be sure that you egg white are fully set. To stop the cooking process from continuing place the eggs in a bowl of ice water after boiling.
- Mayo: Be generous with the mayo. An egg will not absorb any of the mayo like bread would and it help balance the flavours since the egg halves are pretty thick.
- Prep Your Ingredients: You can cook the bacon and store it in your fridge until you are ready to eat. The same goes for the eggs.
