Radishes are easy to grow, very pretty in colour, and add a nice little pop of spice.
Ingredients:
- 1 bunch thinly-sliced round radishes
- ¾ cup water
- ¾ cup apple cider vinegar
- 1½ tsp sea salt
- 3 tbsp honey
- 3 garlic cloves whole, peeled
Tips & Tricks for Pickled Radishes:
- Washing the Radishes: Make sure to really scrub the radishes and make sure there is not dirt left on since these will not be peeled.
- Slicing the Radishes: Use a mandoline to get even slices or you can cut them individually. Be sure to try and keep the slices thin.
- Pickling Liquid: Heat the pickling liquid until all of the honey has dissolved. Once it’s ready pour the liquid almost to the top of the jar.
