Deviled eggs are classic. They are the optimum appetizer that takes very little effort. Ready for any picnic, party or Tuesday night dinner. I have yet to meet someone who doesn’t like deviled eggs. Hard boiled eggs are so versatile. It has the same base ingredients as egg salad but its a totally different outcome.

Ingredients For Deviled Eggs

Ingredients for Deviled Eggs:

  • 12 eggs (Hard boiled)
  • 1/4 – 1/3 cup miracle whip or mayonnaise
  • 2 -3 tsps mustard
  • Paprika for dusting no top

Tips & Tricks:

  • Hard Boiled Eggs: Make sure to let the eggs fully cool before removing the yolks.
  • Piping: You can add the egg mixture to a piping bag to get a more decorative affect when adding it into the empty egg halves.
  • Toppings: You can add other seasonings like salt & pepper on top or even fresh herbs like dill.
  • Miracle Whip or Mayonnaise? Both of these are great in this recipe. The miracle whip does have more seasoning and tang which makes its brighter in flavour. The mayonnaise provides a nice creaminess from the fat content.
  • Storage: You can store these in the fridge for 3-4 days. Best enjoyed shortly after they have been made.
  • Glass Tray: I got my glass egg tray at the dollar store but this is a very similar option.
