Getting into the holiday spirit with this bright green St.Patricks day whiskey sour. This is a little twist on a classic drink. Green beer might be the tradition for this Irish celebration but this drink will make you change your mind.

Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- ½ tablespoon lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons simple syrup
- 2 ounces Irish whiskey
- 1 tiny drop of green food colouring
- lime wedges for garnish

Tips & tricks:
- Simple Syrup: To make your own simple syrup add equal parts water and sugar to a saucepan. Heat on low, stirring until the sugar has fully dissolved. Remove from the heat and wait until fully cooled before adding to the drink.
- Lime Juice: When getting fresh lime juice roll the lime between you hand and the countertop before cutting the lime in half and squeezing. This will help ensure more juices are released.
- Whiskey: Irish Whiskey is great in a whiskey sour but other whiskeys will work fine as a replacement.
- Food Colouring: Add a single drop of green food colouring to get the same green as the photos. For a more vibrant green try adding 3 drops.
- Pitcher: You can make a whole pitcher of whiskey sours and store it in the fridge overnight until you are ready to use it.
